SCA Founder, Russell Faibisch

Founded originally as National Surety Services, Surety Corporation of America has become something Russell Faibisch dreamed about when obtaining his bail agent license on May 29, 1968. Forty years later, his expert organization supports hundreds of hand-picked bail agents across the eastern half of nation. After obtaining his General Agent license in 1983, Russell brought American Bankers Insurance Company into the bail bond business in 1984. American Bankers joined American Reliable Insurance Company under the Assurant Group and entered the bail industry in 1996. Russell has been the only exclusive national managing general agent for both companies. In 2007 Russell Faibisch was inducted into the Hall of Fame by the Professional Bail Agents of the United States.

In 2009, Russell continues to grow the company. U.S. Specialty Insurance Company recently named SCA as its Exclusive National Managing General Agent to bring that company into the bail bond industry. U.S. Specialty is part of HCC Holdings, a publicly traded company. It is top rated in the insurance industry and licensed in all fifty states. SCA was selected for Russell Faibisch’s leadership, financial stability and experienced team who are widely respected for underwriting expertise and renowned service. SCA is now positioned to expand across the west and provide even better support for existing agents.

Having spent his first 15 years as a retail bail agent, Russell knows the meaning of service to retail agents. The SCA staff is on call 24/7, just like Russell, to assist agents in writing bail. The SCA building in Miami Florida is “home” to about 20 people with a combined total of over 200 years bail bond experience. Several employees received recognition for 25, 20, 15 and 10 years with the company at a recent SCA event. No matter what hour, all SCA staff members are in touch with agents and each other to provide timely expert support to SCA agents.
